Eligibility Criteria for CIA course
To Register for the CIA certification and take exams, candidate must hold one of the following:
- Associate Degree – 5 Years
- Bachelor’s Degree – 2 Years | Master’s Degree – 1 Year
- The CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA Qualification
- (If you don’t meet the eligibility criteria, you cannot pursue the CIA Certification. You can enroll in the CIA course at any time, and once you gain the required experience as specified by the IIA, you will be eligible to claim the certification.)
Before candidate can be awarded the CIA Certification, candidate must also have some experience of working in Internal Audit or a related role. Candidate must hold one of the following
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) – 1 Year
- Bachelor’s Degree – 2 Years
