Rachna is a law graduate from Delhi University and a fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has over 17 years of experience as In-house Legal Counsel, Company Secretary and Compliance professional. She has been involved in providing legal and commercial support to the Senior Management. She has work experience across diversified business lines which include listed Navaratna Public Sector Companies, Large Media Conglomerates, Fast Growing Startups in the Business and Knowledge Processing Sector, Real Estate Fund, Hospitality and Diversified Private Equity Fund. She has worked with National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, Viacom 18 Media Private Limited, ICICI Prudential Asset Management Limited, Sutherland Global Services Private Limited in the past.
After spending almost 16 years as in-house legal Counsel, Rachna founded a law firm named “Counsel Quest”. As an in-house Counsel she has been associated with ethics and compliance committees under Vishaka Guidelines and Internal Committee (IC) for over 10 years. She also has 10+ years of experience in imparting training on POSH initially as in-house Legal Counsel and now as an Independent Professional. She is also present on the IC for reputed business houses as external member. She has expertise in handling cases involving sexual harassment.
She is also a Mentor with SHEROES (a leading portal for women) for Sexual Harassment matters. She is also a member on the Taskforce constituted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace.
Rachna has a 4 years old daughter and she stays with her family in Gurgaon. Her husband holds a senior level position in a reputed MNC.
