Student Discounts at CIA

The IIA is pleased to provide discounted CIA program application and exam registration fees to students attending recognized colleges and institutions.

Students who want to be eligible for lower pricing must:

Be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program for at least six semester hours, or the equivalent, as determined by the school where the student is enrolled; OR

Be a graduate student enrolled in a minimum of six semester hours or the equivalent as determined by the enrolling school.

Students enrolled full-time in university programs who are in their final year of a bachelor’s degree program may be granted temporary approval to join the CIA program and take the CIA exam components before fulfilling the educational prerequisite. However, the CIA designation won’t be given out until the necessary amount of instruction has been completed and the necessary supporting documentation has been turned in.
